How We Work

Cool Globe

We were proud to design and create the globe sponsored by the Sierra Club at Chicago’s 2007 CoolGlobes exhibition

Each job we do is custom, from start to finish, but we ensure the highest quality and customer satisfaction by following these steps:

  1. Preliminary communication by telephone, email or in person
  2. Initial meeting, usually on your premises
    • We bring plenty of sample boards & albums of previous jobs for inspiration
    • You tell us about your objectives and needs.
    • We suggest a number of possible solutions.
    • We provide a preliminary estimate of cost.
    • You and we determine if there is sufficient mutual interest to proceed to next step.
  3. We submit a written proposal
    • Scope of the job will be clearly described.
    • All costs are included (no "extras" such as paint or other materials, ladders & scaffolding, mileage charges, etc.).
  4. Payment
    • For a $250 design fee we will create a custom sample of your specialty finish in your colors or design your murals as a watercolor painting. The $250 will be credited against your final balance.
    • 50% is payable upon commencement of work.
    • To protect the interests of both parties, all change orders will be in writing, specifying both the change and the cost of the change.
    • Remainder of monetary obligation is payable upon completion.
    • Payment can be made by cash or check.
  5. How we work on the job
    • Environmentally-friendly options available
    • Air filtration for indoor work
    • Cleanup at the end of each day to the maximum reasonable extent
  6. Privacy
    • We will not share your name or contact info with other parties

That's the formal part, but the real excitement — for you and for us — is when, with your help, we can create and produce a design that excites you and your friends.

We love our work and we respect our customers!
